STARTED TO OPEN ITS HOTELS AS OF JUNE 5, BARUT HOTELS COMPLETED OPENING OF ITS HOTELS

Having 13 hotels in the Mediterranean and Aegean Region, Barut Hotels started to reopen its facilities, which were closed due to the pandemic, as of June 5. Akra, the city hotel brand of the Group, which completed opening of the resort hotels, continued to operate during the pandemic. 

Referred to as one of the leading brands in Turkish tourism industry, the Group has recently opened the Arum Barut Collection on August 20. Undergone renovation in the winter, the facility welcomed the season 2020 by its new units and pier.

Samuray Onen, the Commercial Director of the Group, said ‘We offer services with Safe Tourism Certification in all our hotels. We have made several arrangements in our hotels since March due to Covid-19. We took immediate action to implement the circular letters issued by the Ministry, and we went far beyond the practices required, thanks to Barut's experience and service quality. We drew great interest and received support messages from our guests during the periods of time when our hotels were closed. Within the scope of transparency, which is one of our key principles, we also worked so hard during the pandemic to inform our revisiting guests, which are at a ratio of 40%, in the clearest and most accurate way possible through all data we have. We shared the measures taken by Turkey with respect to Covid-19 with our guests regularly. We informed the public about our innovations and opening dates. During the pandemic, we realized once again that the bond between us and our guests, who come for the first time or visit our hotels tens of times, is getting stronger under all challenging conditions. Also this year, we received many messages like "It’s okay as long as you are good, we will come again", just as we did in the difficult periods of times experienced in previous years. "Upon lifting of the travel restrictions, the occupation of our facilities started to get higher, in compliance with the determined capacities.".
