Tour of Antalya, the international bicycle race of Antalya, will host a World Tour team and five Pro-Continent teams for the first time in its 3rd year

The third session of the Tour of Antalya powered by AKRA, organized under the leadership of the Governor's Office of Antalya and the main sponsorship of AKRA Hotels by Argeus Travel & Events and Yedi Iletisim, will take place on February 20-23, 2020.
 
The organization, getting ready to host the Master of Pedals once again in the heaven-like Antalya, will be held under the theme of "Natural Beauties of Antalya" this year. 29 teams and 174 cyclists from 23 countries will participate in this important race in 2020.
 
Organized under the category 2.2 of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in the first two years, the organization will be held under the category 2.1 for the first time in 2020, which means that more important teams will participate in the Tour of Antalya powered by AKRA 2020 this year.
 
Tour of Antalya powered by AKRA, which has ranked up, will be one of the world-famous UCI 2.1 races such as Tour of Slovakia, Tour Cycliste International du Var et des Maritimes and Vuelta Asturias Julio Alvarez Mendo. 
 
The 2020 official launch meeting of the AKRA Gran Fondo Antalya powered by AG Tohum, the amateur cycling race to be held on the last day of the Tour of Antalya powered by AKRA organization, was held under the moderation by the accomplished presenter Basak Koc at AKRA Hotel, like every year. A special bicycle-themed light show was staged for the guests during the official launch meeting.
 
The meeting was attended by Nurettin Ates, the Deputy Governor of Antalya, Muhittin Bocek, the Metropolitan Mayor of Antalya, Erol Kucukbakirci, the President of the Turkish Bicycle Federation, Necati Topaloglu, the Mayor of Kemer, and Haydar Barut, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AKRA Hotels, as well as the executives from the governmental agencies, representatives of the sponsor brands, and press members.

A World Tour team and five Pro-Continent teams will participate in the Tour of Antalya in 2020. This will be the first through the history of the organization. Teams to participate in the race in 2020 are as follows:
 
World Tour Team: Israel Start-Up Nation (Israel)
 
Pro-Continent Team: Alpecin – Fenix (Belgium), Sport Vlaanderen – Baloise (Belgium), Bingoal Wallonie Bruxelles (Belgium), Bardiani-CSF-Faizanè (Italy), Vini Zabu'_Ktm (Italy).
 
Continent Team: Spor Toto Cycling Team (Turkey), Salcano Sakarya Continental Team (Turkey), Bike Aid (Germany), Team Felbermayr Simplon Wels (Austria), Tirol KTM Cycling Team (Austria), Bahrain Cycling Academy (Bahrain), Minsk Cycling Club (Belarus), Tarteletto - Isorex Cycling Team (Belgium), BHS – PL Beton Bornholm (Denmark), Sidi Ali Pro Cycling Team (Morocco), A Bloc CT (the Netherlands), Canyon DHB P/B Soreen (UK), Kometa – Xstra Cycling Team (Spain), Akros – Excelsior – Thömus (Switzerland), Cambodia Cycling Academy (Cambodia), Vino – Astana Motors (Kazakhstan), Leopard Pro Cycling (Luxembourg), Team Sapura Cycling (Malaysia), Mazowsze Serce Polski (Poland), Team Giotti Victoria (Romania), Adria Mobil (Slovenia).

In addition to the Israel Start-Up Nation which will be the first World Tour team of the Tour of Antalya;  Alpecin – Fenix, Sport Vlaanderen – Baloise, Bingoal Wallonie Bruxelles, Bardiani-CSF-Faizane ve Vini Zabu’_Ktm, among the pro-continent teams, and the Bike Aid, the continent team to be sponsored by the race-sponsor Corendon Airlines, are among the prominent teams of the Tour of Antalya.
 
All cyclists to be accompanied by the natural beauties in all stages
 
Offering the opportunity to the cyclists to enjoy the natural beauties of Antalya in all four days, the organization has arranged the stages as follows:
 
I.Stage: Antalya – Antalya, 149.2 km (February 20, 2020 - Thursday)
II.Stage: Kemer – Antalya, 165.3 km (February 21, 2020 - Friday)
III.Stage: Aspendos – Termessos, 101.6 km (February 22, 2020 - Saturday)
IV.Stage: Side – Antalya, 136.8 km (February 23, 2020 - Sunday)
