Chronology
1971
BARUT FAMILY
In 1971, the Barut family started to serve Turkish tourism in Manavgat, Side, with 36 rooms.
1987
BARUT ACANTHUS
It was opened in 1987 in Side.
It was merged with Cennet and Acanthus in 2006.
It was completely demolished on November 1, 2015, and re-built from scratch.
It was put into service again on May 17, 2016 under the name Barut Acanthus Cennet.
1990
BARUT HEMERA
In 1990, Barut Hemera opened.
1996
BARUT ARUM
In 1996, Barut Arum opened.
2005
BARUT LARA
In 2005, Barut Lara opened.
2007
SUNWING SIDE BEACH
Sunwing Side Beach was opened in 2007.
It was renamed into Barut B Suites in 2017.
2012
BARUT SUNWING SİDE BEACH
Barut Sunwing Side Beach was opened.
2013
TUI SENSATORI RESORT BARUT SORGUN
TUI SENSIMAR BARUT ANDIZ – IT WAS RENAMED INTO TUI BLUE BARUT ANDIZ IN 2020.

AKRA V
Invested in the operation of resort hotels until 2014, Barut Hotels started to run urban hotels with Akra and Akra V that it opened in the center of Antalya in 2014, and increased the number of hotels to 12.
2015
TUI SENSATORI RESORT BARUT FETHİYE
The Group continued to grow with TUI SENSATORI Resort Barut Fethiye, which started operating in 2015.

LARA BARUT COLLECTION
KEMER BARUT COLLECTION
ACANTHUS & CENNET BARUT COLLECTION
ARUM BARUT COLLECTION
4 hotels belonging to the group announced the Collection segment, where luxury services were going to be offered.
4 hotels started to operate in Collection segment on April 1, 2019.
2019
THE RESIDENCE AT TUI SENSATORI BARUT FETHİYE
The group increased the number of hotels in Fethiye to 2, and the total number of hotels to 13 by this investment.
2022
BAYOU VILLAS
Bayou Villas opened at Lara Barut Collection on 1 October 2022.
BHM HOTELS
Akra Hotels, Akra V, Barut Sorgun, Barut Fethiye, The Residence Barut Fethiye and Kemer Barut Collection hotels left Barut Hotels on 31.12.2022. The hotels continue their activities under the roof of our sister organization Akra Hotels with half a century of Barut Hotels Service Quality and approach.
